Wildflowers, soaring Eucalypts and native flora and fauna provide a picturesque backdrop for our school, encouraging a deep appreciation for our very special natural environment. It is not unusual to see kangaroos, bandicoots and Red-Tailed Black Cockatoos, and to discover monitor lizards, or the occasional Wedge Tailed Eagle soaring overhead.
Silver Tree is located on 25 acres of natural bushland at Parkerville. We are in the heart of the Perth Hills – an exciting and diverse community renowned for its creativity, with art studios and galleries to explore, productive orchards and a deep sense of history.
Located in the Shire of Mundaring, our region is home to the engineering landmark of Mundaring Weir, stunning National Parks and State Forest and some of Western Australia’s top walking and cycling trails, including the long distance Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi Trail.
This theme is embraced on the school grounds which features rustic, natural building materials and play equipment set in natural gardens and surrounded by a beautiful bush backdrop.
Parkerville is only 50 minutes’ drive from the Perth CBD and 15 minutes away from major transport services from Midland.
