This Thursday night we celebrate the end of the year with carol singing supported by children from all the primary classes on either recorders or string instruments. Bring a picnic spread and enjoy the warm weather. More details are inside this edition of Silver Leaves.

The Mundaring Shire and our local Member of State Parliament, Frank Alban, have kindly made end of year donations to the school. The faculty have agreed to use the donations for the purchase of books for each class. We appreciate the kind gesture.

Christmas is a time when families come together and celebrate. With that in mind, I would like to pay particular gratitude to families of our staff who are sometimes left to play second fiddle to the needs of school. Partners and children support our staff and in turn support our school. We appreciate their sacrifice very much.

May you have a blessed Christmas and safe holiday with your precious children.
